I was inspired to make this painting after watching the documentary Food Inc. The movie calls them halo words, but words like organic, free range, fat free are used to convince us these products are healthy. Whatever you call them, we are being lied to by our food industry and our government is complicit. Our food is full of pesticides, fillers, sugars and toxins including some lethal bacteria.
